Electrical Portable Compressors are composed of screw air end, motor, oil-air separation barrel, cooling system, air conditioning system, lubrication system, safety valve and control system.

The overall machine is installed in a box, which is self-contained, and can be directly placed on the flat cement floor without using anchor bolts to fix it on the foundation. The screw air end is a two-shaft volumetric rotary compressor end.

A pair of high-precision main (male) and auxiliary (female) rotors of Electric Portable Compressors are installed horizontally and parallel inside the casing. The main (male) rotor has 5 teeth, while the auxiliary (female) rotor has 6 teeth. The diameter of main rotor is large, and the diameter of auxiliary rotor is small. The teeth form a spiral shape, and the two mesh with each other. Both ends of the main and auxiliary rotors are respectively supported and positioned by bearings.

During operation of portable air compressors, the motor directly drives the main rotor through the coupling (or belt). Since the two rotors mesh with each other, the main rotor of the screw air compressor directly drives the auxiliary rotor to rotate together. The cooling liquid is directly sprayed into the meshing part of the rotor through the nozzle at the lower part of the compressor casing, and mixed with the air to take away the heat generated by compression to achieve cooling effect. At the same time, a hydraulic liquid film is formed to prevent the direct contact between metal to metal between rotors and to sealing the gap between rotors and casings. The injected coolant can also reduce the noise generated by high-speed compression.
