What is Casing Power Tong?
A Casing Power Tong is a specialized, high-torque mechanical tool used in oil and gas drilling, completion, and workover operations to tighten (make-up) and loosen (break-out) threaded connections of casing pipes.
Casing-large-diameter, thick-walled steel pipes-lines the wellbore to reinforce it, prevent collapse, and isolate groundwater or hydrocarbon zones. Given casing's heavy weight, thick walls, and the critical need for leakproof, high-strength connections, these tongs are engineered to deliver extreme torque (often far higher than drill pipe tongs) with precision.

2.MODEL KHT5500 POWER TONG
KHT5500 hydraulic power tongs is the open power tongs which is applicable to make up or break out 23/8"-31/2" drill pipes, 31/2"-41/2" tubing and 41/2"-51/2" casing during oil field workover operation. And three-jaw-plate clamping device is adopted in the master tong and back tongs. The device may ensure minimum string damage.
