Sucker rod is a common equipment in oil extraction. It is manufactured through many processes, including testing, straightening and forging. The sucker rod is placed between the polished rod and the oil well pump. Provide power. The sucker rod is made of high-quality carbon steel and alloy steel, and meets API Spec 11B standards. There are many types of sucker rods, including ordinary sucker rods, hollow sucker rods, and fiberglass sucker rods. Usually we use sucker rod couplings to connect the sucker rods. The sucker rod also has various specifications to suit different environments and applications.

1.Compliance with Standards: All steel sucker rods are manufactured in accordance with API Spec 11B, ensuring reliable quality and meeting industry specifications.
2.Diverse Grades for Versatile Needs: A wide range of grades (C, D, K, KD, HL, HS, and special alloy) are available, each with unique properties to adapt to different working conditions. For example, Grade C is suitable for sulfur-containing medium environments with good corrosion resistance, while Grade D, with high strength after heat treatment, is ideal for deeper wells in non-corrosive or slightly corrosive media.
3.Excellent Mechanical Properties: Each grade boasts favorable mechanical performance. For instance, Grade K has a high reduction of area (≥60%) and good impact toughness (≥70 J/cm²); HL and HS grades feature high yield strength (≥793 MPa) and tensile strength, ensuring stable operation under high loads.
4.Quality Materials: Grade C is made of high-quality carbon steel with moderate strength, good plasticity, and corrosion resistance; Grade D uses high-quality alloy steel, contributing to its long service life.
5.Various Sizes Available: Offered in multiple dimensions (5/8 inch, 3/4 inch, 7/8 inch, 1 inch, 1 1/8 inch) with corresponding rod and thread specifications, as well as different rod lengths (25 feet, 26 feet, 30 feet, Pony Rod), meeting diverse well depth and operational requirements.
1.Onshore and Offshore Oil Wells: Used in rod pumping systems, which are the most common artificial lift method, to drive downhole pumps (such as reciprocating pumps) and lift crude oil from subsurface reservoirs to the surface.
2.Wells with Varied Depths: Adaptable to different well depths, from shallow to deep wells. High-strength grades (e.g., Grade D, HL, HS) are particularly suitable for deep and ultra-deep wells where higher tensile strength and load-bearing capacity are required.
3.Wells with Specific Media Conditions:
Corrosive environments: Grades with corrosion resistance (e.g., sulfur-resistant or alloy steel rods) perform well in wells containing hydrogen sulfide (H2S) or other corrosive substances.
Normal oil-bearing formations: Standard grades (e.g., Grade C) efficiently handle routine oil extraction in non-corrosive conditions.
4.Oilfield Development Stages: Applied in both primary production (when reservoir pressure is insufficient to push oil to the surface) and secondary recovery phases, supporting continuous oil extraction to maximize reservoir productivity.
