1. Frame
The frame is welded with steel plates. The bearing blocks of the transmission shaft and the upper and lower bases of the crankshaft are made of cast steel. The crankshaft bearing block uses a wide plate with stiffeners, providing high strength and good rigidity.
2. Crankshaft
Made of cast alloy steel, offering strong durability.
3. Transmission Gear Set
Uses involute herringbone gears with medium-hard tooth surfaces. It delivers high torque and runs smoothly.
4. Pinion
Forged from alloy steel. Either end of the transmission shaft can be fitted with a pulley.
5. Crosshead
Made of ductile iron for excellent anti-friction performance. The upper and lower guide plate structure allows for easy adjustment of alignment by adding washers under the lower plate.
6. Hydraulic Cylinder
Forged from alloy steel and designed as a straight-through type. It is compact, highly efficient, and suitable for high-pressure work. The valve seat hole has a 1:6 taper with steps. The gland and flange are connected by saw-tooth threads and fixed with bolts for easy disassembly. The surface is treated with chemical nickel-phosphorus plating for better corrosion resistance.
7. Valve Assembly
NB1300 mud pumps use API #7 valves. Fluid-end parts such as the cylinder, plunger, valve, valve seat, spring, seal, valve cap, and cylinder cap are interchangeable.
8. Lubrication System
An oil wiper and oil channels near the pinion direct lubrication to the bearings of the transmission and crank shafts, and the top of the guide plate. An optional external forced lubrication device can be installed on the frame.
