Besdrill Precision Hydraulic Cylinder Tubing is a high-performance, seamless tubing solution engineered for efficient automation systems, hydraulic cylinders, and precision mechanical applications. Crafted from premium materials-including carbon steel (SAE 1020, ST52, E355, SAE 4140) and stainless steel (304L, 316L)-this tubing undergoes advanced manufacturing processes such as cold drawing, honing, and skiving & roller burnishing (SRB) to ensure exceptional precision and reliability.
 
Boasting tight dimensional tolerances (ISO H7-H10) and a ultra-smooth inner surface (Ra 0.2-0.4μm), it delivers optimal performance in high-pressure environments, making it ideal for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Its seamless construction enhances pressure resistance, while excellent weldability simplifies integration into cylinder manufacturing.

In order to produce extremely precise ID dimensions and smoothly ID surface, the honing process involves using abrasive polishing stones and abrasive paper to remove small amounts of material. 

Besides the honing process, we also use the SRB process (skiving and roller burnishing) to produce honed tubing.

Honed tube for hydraulic cylinder is ready to use for producing or repairing hydraulic cylinders without any further ID
processing.

SAE 4140 honed tubes are cold drawn seamless honed tubes made of steel grade SAE4140. 4140 honed hydraulic cylinder barrel tubes usually are used for applications under high pressure & heavy duty. As the tensile strength and yield strength of SAE 4140 is very high. Steel 4140 is equal to German steel grade of 42CrMo.
